Hi! I'm Lisa Elvee
I first danced with fire in 2012, after a year of practicing with Poi, and I was totally terrified the first time!
Without proper knowledge, all the tricks and movements I usually did weren’t working. I nearly hit myself a few times, and after that I didn’t try it again for half a year. I felt traumatized by that one failed attempt.
One night, I pushed myself to try again. And after observing my fire spinner friends and learning more about it, I was much more confident and had no problem performing all my tricks on fire!
Since then I have had the pleasure to perform, teach and explore this artform all over the world with the best in the business since 2013.
Fire dance has brought me so much, community, purpose, confidence, creative expression and pure joy! So I’m eager to help you experience the magic of fire yourself!
